ENVIROMENTAL PROJECTS

WOW Management led a comprehensive waste management project in Córdoba, Argentina, focused on waste valorization. The initial phase defined sorting criteria supported by an adaptable strategy based on continuous assessments. Incentives and penalties were implemented through the creation of applicable regulations.

Collection planning was meticulously carried out to optimize vehicles and containers, with manuals and regulations that include strategic green points, not only for material recovery but also with an educational and environmental awareness focus.

The gradual containerization assesses comprehensive feasibility, with technological analyses and an efficient communication plan to inform the population. Integrated Urban Solid Waste Management

The large volumes of Green Waste generated in Argentina pose a significant challenge in terms of management, resulting in a notable environmental impact. The intervention of WOW! Management in the Project for the treatment of these waste has achieved a progressive transformation, moving away from the conventional linear management characterized by disposal and subsequent environmental contamination. Instead, a more sustainable approach has been adopted, integrating these waste into the circular economy.

This project implements an innovative management system with the aim of maximizing the reuse and recycling of yard waste. It focuses on collecting those that cannot be utilized at households, with the subsequent processing stage intended for use in the production of bioinputs. In this way, the program actively promotes the transition to a more sustainable and circular management model, thereby reducing the environmental impact associated with traditional management practices of these materials.

The project, managed by the WOW! Management team, focused on the recovery of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) to manufacture smart glasses and enhanced canes for individuals with visual impairments. These waste materials contain harmful components to the environment and health, such as lead, mercury, and other heavy metals, whose leakage into the soil and water can occur if not managed properly. The team facilitated a strategic alliance between the client and Caescus Lab, an Argentine company that develops adapted technologies, through the collection, reuse, and recycling of electronic components and materials. This not only contributes to mitigating negative environmental impacts but also drives inclusive technological development. The creation of smart glasses and enhanced canes not only benefits individuals with visual impairments, promoting their autonomy, but also has a positive impact on the environment. In this way, the project aims to achieve a triple impact: environmental, social, and technological.

The growth of the automotive fleet has accentuated the environmental issues associated with used tires, generating logistical challenges and inherent risks, particularly due to their flammable nature. In response to this scenario, the WOW! Management team was hired to design and implement a comprehensive project for the sustainable management of Used Tires (UT).

This project focuses on the revalorization of UT through chemical and physical treatments, aiming to increase waste minimization and valorization with the goal of significantly reducing storage volumes. The revalorization task is carried out by Ecovalor, an Argentine company specializing in the processing of this type of waste. In the context of accelerated industrialization, the comprehensive management of UT emerges as a strategic response to effectively address environmental issues.

The "From Home" website project is a digital modernization initiative developed during the pandemic. With a focus on strengthening the services provided by the city municipality and promoting digital inclusion, this project gained crucial importance amid the COVID-19 crisis, where technology became essential in Public Administration.
